I've got a perfectly good older GE dryer in which the timer motor has burned
out (coil reads open). A new timer is $75, but I know there has to be
someone out there with a dead dryer and perfectly good timer motor. The
motor is made by Eaton and is rated 1/45th RPM, CW rotation. Anybody have
suggestions where I could find one? I called a local appliance shop and they
won't sell used parts because they can't warranty them, if the part is cheap
I'm willing to take a gamble, I hate to scrap the whole dryer but I can get
another comparable one for less than what the part costs.
