Hi Guys, not a fault really, just something that has bugged me for a
long time. When you change channel, the OSD shows channel no & time.
How the heck do you adjust the time? I've tried every combination of
button presses I can think of to no avail. Obviously I don't have an
    owners manual.

I cannot locate that model number anywhere! For sure with all of these TV
sets you will require the original remote control. The universal ones will
not give access to the internal user set-up menus. The front panel controls
on most TV models, especially in sets that are newer than about 10 years, do
    not give any menu access.

On the original remote, you may have a direct access to the time, or you
must press the Menu or Set-up button. From there you must read the prompts,
and there should be one for TIME or TIME Set.

I hate that, how hard could it be to make all functions accessible from the
front panel controls? Even if you had to go through some cumbersome menu to
do it, at least then the set would be useable. I never have found a remote
to adjust the brightness on my Sony XBR, they just *had* to make it
different than all the common Sony's.

I wish that life was that simple! I do have the original Remote
Control, & sadly apart from a myriad of buttons for TV, VCR & Teletext
functions there are none for set up menus or time functions. Tuning on
this set is achieved via front panel controls. Picture & sound
controls are on the RC & duplicated on the front panel. Sometimes
wonder whether the TV clock is supposed to get its info from the
Teletext signal, just a thought. Oh for an Owners Manual!!
