I recently purchased a new laptop (Compaq with Windows XP). I have
installed PCD 2000/3000 program, and have transfered (via
backup/restore) accounts from my old laptop. The GEM 3200/9600
accounts seem to be OK, but the old 1016 accounts do not work. I get
a message "not a Napco account" or simular wording when I try to open
a 1016 account. Can anyone offer any help on this?? Thank you.

You sure you entered the encryption number of the new PCD2000 software
correctly?

The windows version is good. But it only does the P800 or newer panels...

And it seems to require a fairly hefty machine
