So long as the system is installed to comply with all relevant standards, then i
see no objection why not.
Although the certifying company will need to install the redcare for you, and
you will need to pay them for monitoring and 2 yearly services.

yes ok there are an awful lot of requirements for Monitored systems in the
uk nowadays and most panels even though bs4737 standard are not suitable for
monitoring, a speech dialler is a very good option.

Correct me if I am wrong but to get a confirmed alarm condition you have to
have a second sensor triggered 30 mins after the initial alarm ? If the
police dont come until that has gone off then I really dont see the point,
30 mins is a long time and plenty of time for a burglar to take many
valuables.

That is a second sensor has to be triggered within a 30 minute window. If
the second trigger is 1 minute after the first they will action police
straight away.

YES PAUL IS RIGHT, I must admit though that the first time i read DD243 i
thought that it meant after 30 minutes, and of course dont forget that if
the second sensor is covering the same area as the first , then they cannot
both be of the same technology ie 2 x PIRs although you can have two
dual-tec's overlapping, but then of course you have to make sure that if you
ue two pir/microwave dual tec's that the microwaves are different
frequencies. (aint DD243 grand).

the different frequency microwave only matters if they are close enough to
afect eact other.

You got me on the EOL resistors one , where is that, we certainly dont use
EOL on our DD243, mainly cos its not possible, we use I.D.
