hello all, i'd appreciate any help you can give me on this...

i have virtually no experience working with LCDs that don't come with
the controller and serial/usb interface already attached to them,
however today i received an LCD that would be a pretty good fit in a
project i have in mind which is pretty bare. i don't know the
manufacturer, i don't know where to begin to get this hooked up to a
PC. the LCD appears to be graphical, as i'd expect to see rows when
held up to the light if it was character, has a 30 pin ribbon coming
from it, and pos/neg connectors that i assume are for the backlight.

this can be ignored. found out it's an optrex F-51320GNB-LW-AB.
