I was looking at some stuff in the house where i grew up and found a bag with some of my most favrite toys.

They where two Fisherprice military style radio tranceivers (3070) that me and my brother loved to play with.

They still work after 30 yeard (mfg date1986).

I only had to replace the capacitors and they are again ready to use "in combat" :)

I love the way they used to build theese toys and in general the way they used to build PCB's

    Were they made in China?

It says : 1986 Fisher-Price division of the quaker oats co. east aurora, N.Y. 14052.
So i guess it is made in the USA.

Either you and your brother handled them with kit-gloves, or they were made when quality still mattered.
    Nice find.

I think that is the case.

Only the foam padding has worn off which is normal after 30 years, other than that, not broken not even scratched.
