Motion control - need L290 or replacement

Hi all-

I'm hoping someone here will have the answer to all my questions, or
at least this one. I'm looking for a closed loop control circuit
for a dc motor that will sense both position and the speed of the
motor. I have a schematic that uses three ICs, the L290, L291, and
L292 that would do the job beautifully. Problem is, I can't find the
L290 or L291 ICs anywhere. Does anyone know where I could find them,
or if there is a replacement for either these two ICs or the entire
circuit. Any information would be greatly appreciated.
