Hello everyone. Just want to introduce myself.

My name is Correy and I'm currently pursuing an EE degree at ITT Tech. I'm very into electronics, and while I understand most theory while it's covered, I don't truly learn the material until I see actual applications and actually build something myself, so I'm hoping to gain quite a bit of knowledge here.

I'm mostly looking for input on some project ideas, but hope to answer some questions myself!

    Welcome Geonovast.

I understand your theory vs. practice stuff.

Tell us a bit more about your avatar, it's a curious choice. :)

I tend to get random, quirky ideas popping up in my head, and during my first digital class, I suddenly was curious as to what would happen if you hooked the output of an inverter up to the input. Seemed fitting for an avatar.

Yes, and it's an interesting thing. For example a resistor instead of a wire there does something very different to having a schmitt trigger input on your inverter.

I presume you've seen both of those applications?
