  1. I pulled all the output transistors and they all checked out ok with the ohm
    meter. I noticed the wire wraps on the output transistor sockets seemed
    pretty dull. So while I had the transistors out I soldered all the sockets,
    some connections were only wire wrapped. I did the same on the speaker
    switch connections, these were just wire wrapped too. That seemed to clear
    up my weak channel problem. So I'm guessing bad connection(s) on the
    transistor sockets or switches. The unit's been floating around with me for
    20+ years so I guess that's not surprising.

    Volume and tone controls are a little scratchy so I'm going to pick up some
    contact cleaner and work on them next.
