    Hey all,
I was wondering if there was a way to broadcast a radio signal, but only in one direction. Like a laser, except without line of sight requirements. Any ideas?

In general, you're talking about a directional antenna. These get smaller with increasing frequency and larger as you narrow the angle through which it transmits.

Note that you will never get zero transmission in some directions and 100% in others. The gain will drop as you move off axis with possibly a few increases at funny angles.
