modulator output??

  1. Sorry, I'm a complete novice with all this

    Just bought a DVD/VCR to replace the old VCR and find I have faint lines of
    interference floating across the tv screen. Is this something you fix by
    changing the modulator output? Manual says you can change it from factory
    setting of 52, but doesn't say what it is, why you would need to or what to
    change it to

    Or is there something else I could do?

    change it to something else and see if it helps.

    It's best to pick a chanel not near the chanel any local UHF transmitters
    or other sources of interferance,
    you could try cabling it into the AV input (or SCART etc) of your TV
    (if present) and use that means to view your videos...
