I have a small water fountain I want to convert from 2 AA batteries to run on AC power.
I am using an old nokia charger at 5v output which does the job, but it is pumping too fast.
What would be the easiest way to bring to voltage down to about 3v?
I am also restricted by space, it needs to fit in the battery housing.
    Cheers

    Hi,

For such a low demanding application you can drop the voltage a bit by connecting 3 or 4 garden variety 1N4007 diodes serially in the positive line.

    regards,
