    hi,
i m a student of mechanical engineering and am making a solar powered unmanned aerial vehicle (uav), but is unable to figure out the minimum powered required for the electronic parts (motor, electronic speed controller, servos, receiver) for stable flight.
    please help through this.

    Hello,
I think your project is extremely complex. Stable flight comes from fuselage, wing and control surfaces.
Electronics can help after the initial plane is constructed.

Your question is so far out that their isn't a simple answer.
What have you done so far? Is the plane finished ready for electronics?
What does it weigh? Wing span? etc etc.
Have you got any pictures of where you are with it now?
    Too many questions.....

    hi,
see i m making a solar powered aircraft so for it i will be using solar panels mounted on the top surface of wing and fuselage.
now the wing area will be based on the solar panel area required to power the aircraft electronic system(motor, esc, receiver and servos) and now the solar panel area required will depend on amount power the electronics system needs. i have assumed a gross take-off weight of 3kgs there is no limitation of wing span
