In the mid 1980s I worked for a company where we repaired hundreds of
Hitachi tvs a month. A very few had a problem with ghosting which
looked exactly like a faulty delay line or a capacitor in the delay
line area. The problem was always the crt. I've always wondered what
kind of defect in the crt could cause this problem. Does anyone know?
