Microwave cross talk?

On a recent installation we used 2-microwave/pir, ceiling mount units
in a commercial bank lobby (about 40'x80'). The units are spaced about
20' apart. They seemed to work well at first, but soon started to
false. Could it be that the microwave units are setting up some kind of
cross talk between them selves? Thank you.

Its been a while since i played with microwave but there was a problem of 2
units being on same band causing a problem both on a,b c d etc and units
should be on a diffrent band to prevent a false .

but wouldn't the IR part also have to trip?
I've never experienced this particular problem, but I suppose it is possible.
I've had more MW problems with them seeing through walls :)
