Anyone have any idea what frequency range this might be working in?

Any repair URLs for basic testing? Advanced testing?

TIA

Most of these are using IR (Infrared) for their communications. They
transmit the data over the IR carrier. There are also a few models that are
working on Bluetooth. This works in the 2.4 gHz range.

To set the record straight, Microsoft's own web-site and a new package of a
very similar mouse both agree that the particular mouse I'm working with
(Wireless Optical Mouse) is a 27 MHz device.
