Microphone Kit?

    i found this the other day and im not really sure what it is, or what your supposed to do with it. I know it's just a microphone, audio jack and some capacitors, but id like to know the purpose for it the kit and any additional info, any help would be appreciated

    I don't know what kind of mike that is, but the kit seems very basic (no transistors) and it's a little hard to imagine what it was meant to demonstrate (filters?). By itself it's hardly of any use.

    hi there

    the microphone looks like an old crystal mic usually has hi impedance

    measure it on you multimeter if its a dynamic mic its likely to be around 600Ohms give or take ~ 200Ohms

    Its been 30 yrs since I owned a crystal mic cant remember if you will measure any sort of resistance or not
