How does memory capacitor work in Vcr,where is memory capacitor hook up in vcr circuit.
Usually memory capacitor save the time date and event timer.

Depends on the device... sometimes the 'memory' capacitor is simply a side effect of a capacitor installed on the DC side of the power supply.
There is no 'standard' location other than following the traces from the affected chips.

it supplies a small current to the circuits that control the date time channels etc
the chip that does this is often the main microprocessor chip and the capacitor will connect directly to
    two of the processors pins

you would have to specify a make and model of VCR etc so that maybe a schematic can be obtained
that will show the part of the circuit requires .... as yet you haven't given that info
