MC14469 UART Application notes

I wish to use the mc14469 uart for a project.
I have data sheets for the part but I need some examples of schematics or
application notes as to
understand how they work.

Wow, that's a 25-year-old part! Sounds like you're
looking for AN806a, "Operation of the MC1446_" but
(sadly) it's not likely you'll find it.

Ahh, but it did provide one last straw to cling on to before
being dragged kicking and screaming into the (then) scary
world of microcontrollers

Guess I'm showing my age but I happen to have a copy of that ap note on my
shelf in front of me, as well as 2 or 3 chips!
