    Hi

I wanted to take apart my toaster for cleaning, stupid idea because i forgot to take pictures and now i'm unsure if assembled it correct.

The wires is very short so there is almost only one way it can fit, but it is still possible to switch around some of the wires.

Is there a polarity or something, on the heating element and fuse, so i may have to switch it around?

I have created a diagram of the toaster and taking some pictures, see attachments.

    Model: Matsui m02smw11e

    hi there

    welcome to the forums :)

I see a few problems with your wiring diagram, you had better check it again
    here's several things

    1) .. the fuse isn't going to be shorted out as you have shown
    2) ... the lower heating element isn't going to be in the neutral line as shown
    3) ... presumably the toaster like most has a slider lever that you push down to start toasting
it will operate a switch or maybe it isn't a popup toaster ?? clarify

ahhh OK, that style did cross my mind :)
yeah, they are on as long as the power is plugged in

OK on the pic of the thermal switch ( don't think it's a fuse). The click you should hear as the
"ready" light comes on is when that switch activates
cant see how it can work like that ???

and again please confirm the wiring of the lower element that you have shown in the neutral lead

    Here is a updated diagram.

The lower element has 2 blue cables, connected to it.

The ready light has 2 separate wires.

Please tell me if you need more information.

btw...this product is from EU (Denmark)
