I missed the post But i have a marconi 2955 Testset and was wondering if
anyone new where i could get a Firmware upgrade later than software
version 12
You can send it into IFR/Aeroflex (IFR bought Marconi some years
ago, and subsequently merged with Aeroflex) for calibration and update.
If nothing else is wrong with it, you're looking at $285 to bring it up
to current firmware and into calibration.
One question, though: Is there a particular reason you need an
update? Unlike PCs, and other consumer commodity devices, specialized
instruments like the 2955 rarely have need of updates.
