I am building a robot for my engineering class for a robot competition, and we need a logo.
JM(James madison) is our logo with blue and orange and whatever. I want to build a circuit with LED's in a parallel pattern, and make it so one letter blinks first(J) and then after maybe a fraction of a second, the next(M) blinks. I am going to be sketching a circuit board on it but I dont know how to do it(its a shame how I can build a robot that drives and senses light and stuff but I cant build this...)

Can somebody tell me how to do this? I will be starting to make a circuit board for it soon and I will post pictures on the progress to better explain what I am trying to do.
