I have a question i have for example a magnetic flap case for my smartphone does the magnetic field damage in any way the phone?

I have searched on forums also i chat with technical support from samsung , they are saying that low magnetic fields make no harm to smartphones but i prefer to ask here since i don't trust those guys from companies technical supports are really pro or they are just sales guys with prepared answers.

hi ther
welcome to the forums :)

I really doubt that such a low level magnetic field could cause any hassles
regardless ... ot wouldnt have been designed that way if there was the possibility of problems

most items designed by the original manufacturer take into consideration the phone specs.
for example Ipad comes with a magnetic cover. now if that cover was to in some way damage their own product then they would have to remarket it or fix the hundreds of thousands of devices they broke.
read the warranty information andif they state it is intended for a certain device and that device then gets damagedby it you have a great chance of getting a new one.
always back your data up on either case and you should go well
