The hot air doesn't work any more, the air flux is ok but cold. The heating
element , about 90 Ohm, seems ok, someone has a schematic or some
suggestion?
Thanks.
Bru.

The HL-852D or HL-lukey appears to be marketed by HuaHong Electronic Co.
Ltd. and Sinatech Industry (HK) Co.,Ltd.
Built by Lukey? (Chinese firm copying Hakko designs?)

Yes, it is from HuaHong Electronic Co. and it was working very well until
the hot air became cold...

Of all the parts for soldering equipment -- heater failure IS the MOST
COMMON !
It really does not matter who makes the equipment -- or heating technology
used
(e.g. nichrome wire, induction or ceramic elements)

I would contact HuaHong Electronic Co. for replacement heater part (and
replacement instructions - if available). Most likely the heater is Chinese
mfg. copy of an original Japanese (Hakko) design.

Thanks, the heating element is ok, may be a driver or sensor failure...
Ciao.

Is this really an OEM Sorny Roong Industrial Co., Ltd. (SOLOMON) soldering
station?

GB-

I posted this on August 13, not knowing my news server had a problem.
Both copies may show up in the outside world at the same time!

I have a friend with a Solomon soldering station that has a broken tip.
He hasn't been able to find a local source for a replacement.

Solomon seems to be a popular brand everywhere but here. Do you or anyone
else know of a Solomon dealer in the U.S.? The URL you provided does not
list dealers.
