Looking for drive belt for old GAF

I'm looking for a drive belt for a GAF 1788Z dual 8 projector. This belt is
a Tilton 1/4 x 7 3/4 S5A. Any suggestions as to where to find this and other
parts? It seems to be fairly intact otherwise though there's some oxidation
on the aluminum drive wheels that will have to be cleaned/polished away.

You'd be better off with a specialist supplier then, although on rare
occasions a hydraulics supplier may have something close.

8.23 UPS. I read a reference to someone making their own out of some kind of
belt stock. Anyone know where this can be gotten?

Not sure. I did work for a company once that made large conveyor belts. I
would look for neoprene extrusions and see what can be found.

The trick for most things is to try one thing after another until you are
successful. That's how the 'professionals' do it!
