    Hi all

I've been looking for a test meter that has an audible diode check. I know Fluke has them BUT at a very expensive price too. Is there a "cheap" meter that will do the same thing without the $$$. When I need to check for shorts I feel this would work wonders compared to a silent type. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated!!

    THANKS!!!!

Any inexpensive continuity tester will do the trick.
    Why not build your own?

Hi and thanks for your reply!! I have checked a bit on ebay but are they all diode audible, there are so
many choices. I just need a small meter to do the job. Allot won't say if the diode is audible in the description. Is there one you would recommend for what I'm looking for?

    THANKS!!!
