I've got a Logitech Z5500 Digital with a control pod that contains a 6 white-LED backlight for it's display. one of the LEDs does not light at all, while a second blinks on and off erratically, a bit like a florescent tube with a bad HV PS. in order, clockwise from top left (because I've not found any identifying marks for the LEDs): 1, on; 2, off; 3, on; 4, blinking; 5, on; 6, on.
when 4 blinks off, 1 and 3 do become brighter, I can't tell for nos 5 and 6 though.

I'm curious as to what kind of defect would cause a low voltage LED to blink erratically and how would I repair it?
