I'm looking for an SMT FET that I would use in multiple projects.

I considered the SMT equivalent of 2N7000, but these have an RDS of 5 Ohm @ 500mA, 10V.
Dring with 5v logic level, it seems these woudl have a lot of resistance at 5v, and not that great a choice.

SOT223 would be nice. VDS around 10-20v max is fine, and only about 200mA. Just going to drive a few LEDs.
    Any suggestions?

It is 1.2v typical, have you actually tried one, I have used 2n7000 extensively in many projects ever since they came out and have not experienced any problems at all'

Yes, that looks a little better than the one I had, with .5 ohms at logic level, if I'm reading that right.
