LM629 motorcontroller problems

  1. Hi,

    We are trying to use a LM629 motorcontroller from national, but we are not
    getting any results...
    I interfaced it to a Atmel AVR (Mega16) and I do I the bus controlling
    I can initialize it, the statusbyte looks ok.
    I can also read the encoder values, and they increment/decrement when I
    rotate the motorshaft.
    When we load the PID values and Trajectory parameters the status gives no
    errors, but when the loop is closed (by the SST command) there is NO pwm
    The motor is on according to the motorOff bit in the status byte, but the
    controller is not outputting any PWM...

    Is there something I am forgetting to set?
