    Hi, I'm new to electronics, and I'm building a simple LED flashing circuit that requires an LM555 timer IC. What's the difference between LM555CM LM555CN LM555CMX?

    The letters following the numerals are used to differentiate between packaging types. There are online datasheet resources that will describe the variations. Perform a search for the LM555.
