Hello everybody,
I'm trying to repair a POLAR FS3C pulse monitor watch. It hasn't been used for two years and the display didn't ...display... anything (sorry for bad english, no native speaker.) I replaced the battery, but the display remained dead. I entirely disassambled the watch, checked the electric connections and searched for defective parts on the circuit board. Nothing seems to be faulty.
Then I checked the reverse side of the lc-display. It shows a silver-grey powdery substance. (Images attached.) Could the lc-display be leaking?
Is there any chande to get any replacement?
Thanks a lot!
Johannes
