Good morning, WIN_20180103_09_45_46_Pro.jpg WIN_20180103_09_46_17_Pro.jpg WIN_20180103_09_46_31_Pro.jpg

I have a very limited experience of electronics. I can wire a plug etc. We have brought a new house and I am trying to replace a chandelier light fitting with a usual pendant fitting. The chandelier is wired up to a up stairs and downstairs light switch.

The old chandelier only had 2 earths a live and a neutral. My new fitting is completely different. I've attached a photo of the chandelier before I took it off and my new fitting.

Could any one please help??

As the label states: If in any doubt about wiring consult an electrician.

The color coding scheme of the wiring is not always consistently used. It may be required to check the actual wiring and the voltages present. Next to impossible via the internet. I suggest you follow the label's advice. An electrician can perform all the necessary measurements.

Thanks for your reply, although slightly condensing (no need to refer to the label)
I wasn't asking for the colour coding, I can see what earth neutral and live. Question was more referring of how to specifically account for the loop of two switches up and down stairs
