    Greetings,

This is mostly down to my OCD but the only silly questions are the ones left unasked and all that....

In order to get a reflective cone for my torch, I took apart an old one of those low voltage halogen bulbs - just like this one: http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/41ciTQweclL._SL500_AA300_.jpg

The thing is these are completely sealed glass units so I had to smash it. At the base where the contacts are its filled with some kind of white potting / insulation material. This comes out as a fine white powder. Does anyone know what this substance is? (I'm a bit paranoid in case its asbestos or something)
