That makes no sense to me at all. A soft light source is a large light source. COB is going to be very small.

Or are you saying that they can be seamlessly connected into an array which does not have "hot spots" thus making a relatively diffuse light source?

You are planning to release them, so that means you have filed the patents. So do us a favor and post some specs and pics. You want an opinion, then provide us with something to state our opinion.

I don't want to go ahead with this, since I have no intention of carrying out any commercial activities with it.
I also think it would be a pity to see the forum become a marketplace.
