Lost the message somewhere to these photographs, unless it's already posted and I cannot 'see' it. I have ordered the board through 'Amazon' and it will come via China. Do you think there will be any problems and the LED strips attached to the lighthouse that are 12volt? Hope to get a reply.

having problems but slowly working through them. A very difficult task for my Win 7 PC to 'see' the nano.
Downloaded the software and are at this stage. I'm afraid just keeping my head above the water as it's all new to me but I will get there eventually. Just keeping you informed on my slow progress.

Hi Lee, make sure you bought a genuine nano. Some have fake FTDI chips on them. I had this problem and found out they were fake. Windows recognises the fake FTDI IC and blocks it after the first use. Took me two days to work out what was going on.

In my view, China is the most wonderful place where I wanna visit. And I have many cooperations with Chinese factories, they are kind and their products are cheap with good quality. So please don't
generalize all by one.

I will say bloody Chinese when they waste 2 days of my time. It's not a general statement it's a fact that China produce more fake produce than any other country. Don't get me wrong I like the Chinese and their culture, I too would love to visit China. But it still won't stop me swearing at them for their fake components.
