Is there anyway possible to indentify or find specifications of the lighter colored leds on this board? At first it was not working but as you can tell I replaced a couple of them with leds from the Shack that were only decribed by 3mm (size only).

    Thank you.

Forgot to add. After replacing a couple of the LEDs the panel lights up now but not quiet right and thinking its because the LEDs I put in are not the correct ones.

You want 'water clear' red LEDs (I'm presuming they are all red?) in a 3mm package. But without knowing the exact spec of the originals you may have to play around with series resistor values to get matching brightnesses.

An LED also has a certain "viewing angle". A narrow angle makes a small bright spot directly in front of it and a wide angle shines its light all around but looks not as bright.

The Shack is bankrupt partially because they knew nothing about electronics. They listed only the size and weight of their over-priced LEDs.
