laser and photo diode

Hi!
Could enyone please tell me which photo diode i have to use ( bpw 43, bpw 34
or sfh 203?) for detecting beam from laser pointer. ( I don't know the
wavelength but it's simple laser I bought in market - about 4$ ).

Not entirely sure of the wavelength that's being
emitted by your pointer's light source, but I'd
venture it's 640nm. Either way, any detector cap-
able of detecting visible light (in this case
"red") should work...
