Labtec CS-800 PC Speaker Out on Non-Powered Side

    The right speaker, non-powered, on my Labtec cs-800 is not functioning. I took the
    speaker off and put it on another cs-800 and it worked. It's either the electronics
    or cable. Cable looks fine, but didn't test it on the other cs-800. I opened up the
    power box, and saw nothing really obvious except a diode near the back had one wire
    resting on a flared U-bracket that was screwed into the back of the case. I pushed it
    away. No change. Any ideas? Otherwise, I think this is headed for the trash.
