I would say by the way all the brands were released on the market at the
same time that they are all the same manufacturer anyway.

There seems to be two major types, those that run transformers and
those that just plug into 120v.

Last year I bought some strings of multi-coloured outdoor LED lights and a string of indoor
multi-coloured mini LED lights made by Forever Bright brand. I really like LED x-mas lights but my
only complaint is that the green LED's are really dim compared to the other colours. We just bought
some indoor multi-coloured indoor lights and the greens are brilliant and there is an additional
colour added: orange. Very nice. We've retired all our other lights (C5's etc) but kept some
incandescent mini's because we can get them to blink. Maybe they will get LED lights to blink
individually as well someday.

I love them, and the retail store I worked at last year was mobbed by people travelling over 100
km's looking for them! Needless to say we sold out and demand is heavy again this year. Our
provincial government is also offering a trade in/credit for old x-mas strings and halogen stand-up
(torcherie) lamps for the LED strings.
