When measuring the alternate current voltage, the meter shows 350 Volt instead of 240 volt a.c.
How to rectify the defects ?. eventhough the battery is new one. The meter has only one fuse.
    Await reply from anybody please.

Show a sketch of the circuit you are measuring.

Check the battery again. If the alternating voltage is not normal, try to adjust it with a potentiometer on the board.

Unless one works in an industry where meter testing is mandatory on a specific time basis, meters calibrated in the factory very rarely if ever require any internal adjustment over their entire life span.
