Kill-a-Watt prices

Anyone up on the lowest price for a few KAWs, including shipping?

Nick

Newegg (excellent vendor) - normally $21 delivered
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produ...ctronic+Gadgets-_-P3+International-_-82715001,
$20 delivered if you use a promo code (according to
http://www.bestdeal.com/lastchance.cfm)

Amazon, $21 delivered if you spend more than $25

Low BIN price on Ebay seems to be $21 delivered, although some went
recently for $17.50 delivered.

www.officemax.com is selling them for 19.99 .. shipping to my address
is another 8$...

Can we buy them at an Officemax store? Amazon has 'em for $20.99, with
free shipping for $50 and up, but when I tried to order a few, they said
they only had one in stock.

About 3/4 of the way down the page - "Newegg has the Kill A Watt for
$19.99 when you use promo code "EMC807HOAP01" to save $3 with free
shipping included." I just tried it though, and got "sorry, promo code
is invalid". This search http://tinyurl.com/3chz9r turned up a link
http://www.uberbargain.com/archives/2007/08/p3_kill_a_watt.php that
says "exp 13/08/2007". We will never surrender! Another search reveals
that Super Media Store had it for $18 delivered up until the end of
July. Might be worth emailing to see if they'll tell you when the next
promotion might be. Perhaps it's this one - "SuperMediaStore.com has
the P3 International P4400 Kill A Watt (Killawatt) for $26 - $7 code
acc106 [Exp 10/2] + $0 shipping = $19 shipped"
http://dealspl.us/rss/user.xml?id=ophello&profile_case=submitted Or
repeat this search http://tinyurl.com/2w4z5p once a week or so until
you squeeze the last nickel out of these Internet robber barons. :)

Plus shipping no doubt.
Instant gratification and not dealing with increasingly scuzzy fleabay
is worth a couple extra bucks.

I expect he paid a couple bucks *more* than it would have cost at
Newegg. Still, lots of good deals for savvy shoppers on Ebay. I prefer
the small-time vendors who work out of their home, so long as they're
competitive. They tend to communicate well, as do I when I
occasionally sell on Ebay. You do need to use common sense. One can
add an extension to Firefox or IE which allows quick right-click
access to a seller's negative feedback.
http://toolhaus.org/cgi-bin/negs I've purchased a half-dozen KaWs on
Ebay, all good experiences. Dozens of other purchases as well with
only a few grumbles, about what anyone should expect when buying used
stuff sight-unseen. I'm bound to have a bad experience sooner or
later, just like I've occasionally had bad experiences at big
retailers and swap meets alike. IMO, the most aggravating thing is
buying something locally and paying extra for "service" that's just
empty rhetoric. I still buy locally sometimes, but if I'm paying a
premium I take care that I'm likely to get what's promised.

Amazon is a good source. $17 - $20. There is a newer model, the 4460, with
battery backup and the ability to enter your kWh charge for calculating
costs, for under $45.

Considering that the Seasonic Power Angel is the same device as the P4400
Kill-A-Watt I wonder how long it will be until they release their own
version of the P4460.
