I am currently making a Bluetooth keyboard for a project.
I have found a chip with wireless built in to use as the micro processor from Atmel.
I am just stuck on what to use as the dongle for the desktop.

Are there already dongles available that I can make my keyboard talk to?
Or can I and how could I talk to a Logitech keyboard dongle for example?
Or do I have to make my own?

Any help would be awesome.

Bluetooth/dongle

Hi there.
So your key board your going to make ? and you want a usb dongle to receive the information, is that right so far ? the problem you have, or will soon find out is compatibility.

While your bluetooth key board sends the data wirelessly, another usb device must receive it. You probably know that much already. Any way you need to find what frequency the bluetooth part is your going to build the key with, then you might have to pull apart another device, usb again to receive it, unless one exists with the same spec, then if or when you get that far, another problem, drivers, not for one half of the duo, but both, i expect it is possible to do it, but a fairly good challenge, see what other members think. Dave. :)
