kds 17" lcd HELP

My pc shut down last night for no reason, I booted it up with no problem,
but my monitor, a KDS 17SX lcd won't show a picture. The power indicator
just blinks. My backup monitor works fine. The lcd monitor also does the
same thing on other computers. It seems as if it's entered a "sleep mode".
I don't have the manual. Does anyone have a clue. Maybe it's entered,
"the big sleep". thanks

Try downloading an operations manual for the website, see if there are any diagnostic tests that the monitor is capable of without being connected to a computer.

Art, thanks for the reply. I tried last night to see if they had a manual
(maybe in a PDF), but couldn't find one on their site. I'll call them

First try another signal cable as these sometimes fail and if the "wake"
signal is not being received by the monitor, it will snore....
