    Hi all,

    I'm currently working on a JVC vcr model HR-S9700, a high-class S-VHS
    machine.
I would certainly need some advice here:

    1. When inserting a tape, the loading mechanism works correct and places the
cassette house were it should be.
The guides cathes the tape and goes all the way around the drum.
Sometimes the reels starts to turn and the tape actually SLIPS UP of the
    guides!
Sometimes the micro shuts off the entire vcr as soon as the tape is loaded,
    it must sense some problem(s).

When I got it to my repairshop, the entire mechanism were stuck and I had to
    re-time it including the modeswitch.

    2. I need to have the original partnumber for the modeswitch cause I suspect
    this to be the problem.

Any advice is welcome, but please don't answer if you're a novice, such info
    will just confuse me!

    Best regards
    Stefan
