jittery mouse fix

Hi,

I have this Genius Navigator 535 mouse that jitters as I move it. The higher the DPI the more the jitter. Rubbed its lens clean, used it on two machines and 5 OSes, even with custom made drivers for it. all the same - so I am pretty sure this is a hardware issue.

That being said, I have my solder gun and multimeter and I'd like to repair this myself. Of course, if I knew what part is broken...

have had several optical mouses and all of the jiter problems were related to the lens being either dirty(most common ) or scratched.

you have made me pul out the magnifying glass... no scratches, just weird geometry. Cleansed again and all is well. Thanks!

Look for a hair in the hole in the bottom of the case where the laser shines out.
