I've noticed that, perhaps they lurk in here?

** They used to watch every post that mentioned " Jaycar ".

Sometimes a staffer replied.

Sometimes one emailed the poster.

All very intimidating.

If they watch threads with the word Jaycar in them, then why have they not
taken our advice and fired the person responsible for their website search
engine? The search engine that they use is as useless as tits on a bull. As
mentioned by others here before, even if you know what to look for, the word
search facility either shows up with zero results or over 10 pages worth of
crap.

Same guy who watches the threads, would be my guess.
Just use google "jaycar thingo", not perfect but better.

** Jaycar do not take advice from anyone.

They give it out.

It's probably the same guy who wrote the whitepages and yellow pages search
engine. Search for "ski" in "box hill" it says "too many results".

I'm reading this a couple of days after the original msg, but
coincidentally a couple of days ago the Jaycar website was throwing
back an IIS web server error page (looks similar to the IE error page).
It was fine an hour or two later but by then I'd already purchased the
gadget from DSE. ;-D
