isolation xformer

what is the best way to make an isolation xformer. have a good sized
boneyard of many tv parts, shoudl i just find two xformers and place back to
back? which type? i dont use one, so havent made one yet. i didi see a
brief schematic somewhere but ready to make one at this point.

I don't have to make any. ALL the early 90's Zenith Hospital grade tv sets
included an isolation transformer inside the cabinet. Given the age, those
tv sets are now being scrapped out due to worn out crts.

4 amp surge and 2 amp continous, big enough for almost all 27" and smaller
tv sets is what the ratings are on those scrap isolation transformers. They
just have wires with molex type plugs on each side out of the sealed metal
transformer case.

Since I get a hold of those from time to time. Anyone who wants one just
email me (rdkuhajda at locl dot net) and if I have one around, a few dollars
over actual shipping to cover the time to get it boxed up and shipped out is
good for me.

I even have sitting in my garage a 60amp isolation transformer. I have yet
to find a use for that one.
