    Hi folks,

Is this not a basic parallel circuit on the breadboard?

    https://www.electronicspoint.com/simple-parallel-circuits-t212087.html

PHOTO: I am attaching my breadboard wiring; the black and red wires on the extreme left-most side are to the 4.5v battery.

My resistors are around 10k each but regardless, I measured voltage across them and shouldn't they be 4.5v?

I got millivolts (???) and the DMM was also jumping around all over the place (???)

EDIT: Oops, somehow the photo got turned upside down.

Never mind, I realize I shorted it; the white jumper on the left side is unnecessary.
