Is this a micro microphone Circuit??

While checking my desk today i found this "thing" glued under it. am not sure if its a micro microphone. would you please help

well its definately an electric condenser mic in pic 2 it may well be a bug transmitter

You could see if it is emitting any signals.

It's a cheap toy. It has a microphone but no power source. It's probably out of a wired headset like this:

It's placement is likely intended to be found and provoke a response (a psychological operation). Are you working amongst pranksters or sociopaths?

I did my own independent googling on the board ID and came up with exactly the same suspicion as KJ6EAD. I too would venture someone might be fooling with your (or a past / other occupant of the desk's) head..
