I was just wondering if the solar energy industry has seen much growth
in the last 10 years?

The photovoltaic is growing quite fast, but I don't have any
stats on solar thermal.

"Production of photovoltaic (solar) cells exceeded 390 megawatts in 2001,
marking the fourth straight year of growth at or above 30 percent" (p. 44).

The German have the Passiv haus. Which means all house shave to be designed
with the sun in mind to capture passive solar energy - and other points

How do you quantify arranging a house to take in more sun. Can't do that in
sales figures.
